There's no risk of blending into the background when you’re wearing this Ruffle Bustier bikini from Mara Hoffman.
I barely know where to look first. The bold psychedelic print demands attention, while the feminine ruffles running along the top of the bustier bikini add another layer. Personally I think Mara Hoffman's added too much here. The frills get lost in the pattern, although we're now doubt paying for their inclusion.
The bustier top is well made, with underwire beneath the bust for extra support. If you need a little extra, make sure you add the detachable strap. This little feature makes this Ruffle Bustier especially versatile for active beachgoers.
The hipster style briefs are a cute complement to the bustier top. They sit low on the hips and offer moderate coverage in the back for a look that's sexy, but not scandalous.
While most labels allow us to mix and match their bikini tops and briefs, Mara Hoffman packages them together. I expected that might bring the price down a little, but at $220 I can't see any discount. If you can usually buy off the rack you might appreciate the convenience, but if you're pear-shaped or curvy you might find one piece or the other doesn't fit quite right.
